Central Coast Scottish National Dancing Titles

Previously held in September, the Central Coast Scottish National Dancing Titles are now one of the principal events at the Central Coast Scottish Spectacular. Featuring the Sailors Hornpipe, Irish Jig (Scottish Version), Scottish Lilt, Flora McDonalds Fancy, Blue Bonnetts, Village Maid, Earl of Erroll, the Central Coast Scottish National Dancing Titles includes some spectacular dance events.

The stage will be set up in front of the grandstand where the racetrack will form the perfect backdrop. This competition will provide the perfect opportunity for dancers to showcase their sport to a wider audience, with the stage located right in the centre of activities. The competition will go ahead regardless of weather conditions, with the Panorama Lounge providing an alternative wet weather option if needed. As the name suggests, the Panorama Lounge also provides a panoramic view over the racecourse and the other activities of the gathering.

Following the success of the very first Central Coast Scottish Spectacular in 2017, Central Coast Highland Dancing will again proudly present The Veronica Law Scottish Lilt Challenge in 2018. Named for Central Coast Highland Dancing's founding and life member Veronica Law who has been promoting and preserving the artistic sport of Highland and Scottish National Dancing for almost 55 years! (In addition to her own years as a competitive dancer).

Its always a great dancing competition on the Central Coast and this will be another spectacular event at the Central Coast Scottish Spectacular. This will be a spectacular event with a spectacular prize pool.

Entry forms will be available closer to the event.
